Biography:
Ain Society Kolintang Ensemble was formed as a collaborative effort between Ain Society - a Malay Muslim organisation in Singapore, and Yayasan Kasih Mulia – a Christian organisation in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kolintang which is a form of traditional Indonesian xylophone, provide therapeutic effect on the youth and like any other musical instruments, instill discipline and team work as the youth rely on each other to present the perfect note. The Kolintang ensemble from Ain Society has performed in numerous outdoor performances and ceremonies.
