Biography:
Acoustic Eidolon is an amazing musical duo unlike any other. Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire have combined their musical talents to create an exciting new acoustic sound. Joe plays an instrument he invented and which was built exclusively for him: the one-of-a-kind double-neck guitjo. The guitjo is an acoustic guitar with two necks which has an incredible tonal range, sounding alternately like a piano, dulcimer, beautiful harp or traditional guitar. Combined with Hannah's impeccable cello-playing you have the ingredients for some very moving and enchanting music. Hannah and Joe’s live shows are very entertaining and include vocal selections as well as music that borrows from Celtic, contemporary, bluegrass and Latin influences.
